The Cote&Ciel MONSOON Backpack Memo in White/Black is a part of the memo collection. The youthful, pared-back, forward thinking channel from Côte&Ciel, focused on urban movement, wind like light weight, functional integrity and minimalist form.

Designs are simplified and geometric.

Inspired by traditional Japanese costume, the Monsoon prototype’s volume was created by folding a single piece of fabric into a cube. Monsoon is only ever as big as you need it to be. Pull the ingenious detachable Shape Adjuster strap to the right and the volume expands. Pull Shape Adjuster to the left and the bag flattens. Thus allowing storage inside a larger bag. Unclasp the buckles and the shoulder straps can be completely hidden transforming Monsoon from backpack to tote. Equipped with a laptop pocket that accommodates 13” devices. Côte&Ciel's focus on fabric means that Monsoon’s Vector Grid fabric pattern is woven, not simply a print. The techno grid waft and weave is a reinterpretation of the traditional hunter’s houndstooth cloth.
