Blood Brothers volgt op chronologische wijze de opnamesessies voor de nummers die terechtkwamen op het album Bruce Springsteens Greatest Hits.



Daarnaast zie je Bruce in de studio met de E-Street Band voor het eerst sinds de opnames van het album Born In The U.S.A in '84. De DVD bevat studiobeelden van de nummers Blood Brothers, High Hopes, This Hard Land, Back In Your Arms Again, Without You en de videoclips van Murder Incorporated en Secret Garden. Blood Brothers verscheen in '96 ook op homevideo, maar natuurlijk niet met de vele extra's die de DVD bevat.
