De Franse producer, zanger en multi-instrumentalist Vincent Fenton, ook bekend als FKJ, kondigt met trots zijn nieuwe EP 'Ylang Ylang' aan: het is het product van een tumultueus 2019, waarin FKJ de wereld rond trok op zoek naar verandering en een nieuwe levensstijl. “It's called Ylang, it's the name of the place I stayed isolated for months in the Philippines jungle. It's like a film scoring of that time and place. I set up a studio. There is almost no one there. I was making music out of a generator that was running only by night. The most beautiful landscapes, mountains, beaches. It’s one of my favourite places in the world. When I made music there it felt kind of like a dream state. ”
